Kernel Reboot Failure Error - Kernel Version imx-5.10.72

Dear Team,

We are reaching out to seek assistance regarding a critical error encountered during the reboot process of our kernel version imx-5.10.72. The specific error message received is: "do_kernel_restart failed with error - Reboot failed -- System halted."

We are currently upgrading our kernel from version 4.14 to 5.10 for our arm-based i.MX 6ULL Single-Core Processor with Arm® Cortex®-A7 Core. Despite our efforts, we have encountered this obstacle.

Upon review, the reboot process gets stuck with the following logs:

ci_hdrc ci_hdrc.1: remove, state 4
usb usb1: USB disconnect, device number 1
ci_hdrc ci_hdrc.1: USB bus 1 deregistered
imx2-wdt 20bc000.watchdog: Device shutdown: Expect reboot!
reboot: Restarting system
Reboot failed -- System halted

To facilitate troubleshooting, we have attached our kernel defconfig (defconfig_5.10) and kernel bootup and reboot log (5.10_bootup_logs).

We are grateful for any assistance or guidance you can offer in resolving this issue. Please feel free to request any additional information that may aid in diagnosing the problem.

Thank you for your attention and support.
