Internal boot mode support recovery boot device?

Hi all,

Reference manual boot flow chart figure 8-1 indicates that SOC boot ROM support to boot from recovery boot device(i2c/ecspi) if primary boot device is failed. But in chapter 8.2.5 we only see that it will go to serial download mode when primary boot device is failed in internal boot mode(BOOT_MODE[1:0] = 0b10). So we want to know that recovery boot device is supported or not in Internal boot mode(BOOT_MODE[1:0] = 0b10)?

If yes, that means if we set boot_cfg pins correctly, we can boot from recovery device when primary boot device is failed, right? And if primary boot device and recovery boot device are all failed, we still can jump to serial download mode, right? And If Internal boot mode support recovery device function, Could you tell us what advantage do we use eFuse boot mode to compare to Internal boot mode? Thanks~
