Hi,
I've an issue on Ethernet with my custom board based on iMX.6 DualLite.
The physical driver is LAN8710 and kernel version is 4.1.15.
All works fine if I connect board point to point with a PC or using a switch/router.
If a connect two board point to point among themselves instead, the ethernet link is detected only if is connected at startup. If cable is disconnected at startup or if a detach and reattach the cable afterwards, link is not detected. Last row on dmeg is this:
fec 2188000.ethernet eth0: Link is Down
What could be the cause? Are you aware of any problems of this kind, perhaps related to the physical driver, which have been resolved with patches or in higher versions of the kernel?
