IMXRT1176 M4 Core Slow

Hi,

We are working on a custom board based on IMXRT 1176 and facing a problem with the performance of the M4 core in the dual core system.

M7 is configured for 800Mhz

Compiler options -O2

Memory address DTCM - 0x20000000

Memset for 1000 bytes takes 3.8us

Memcpy for 1000 bytes takes 3.8us

M4 is configured for 400Mhz

Compiler options -O2

Memory address DTCM - 0x20000000

Memset for 1000 bytes takes 29us

Memcpy for 1000 bytes takes 27us

We have also attached the detailed analysis report. 

We would like to know the reason for this slow perfomance on the M4 core ?
