we have the evaluation board of IMX8quad plus and trying to play 4k@30 video from the HDMI port. the video does not play smoothly. is 4k@30 supported? the video file is stored in micro SD card

The i.MX8Mplus does not support 4k, it support 1080p@60Hz encoder/decoder video.
