Hi,
As per IMX8QXP eval board there is mode2[3:0] settings strap resistors options
In our custom board we are using IMX8QXP with KSZ8041RNL in RMII (10/100Mbps )
My query is
In eval board these strap resistors are belongs to AR8031 or IMX8QXP?
We are using IMX8QXP with KSZ8041 so any mode settings to be done through hardware to select RMII?
In Datasheet or Reference manual of IMX8QXP there is no information on MODE setting strap resistors
Kindly clarify
Hi @Chethanbg,
I hope you are doing well.
In i.MX8QXP EVK, the strap resistors belong to the Ethernet PHY chip AR8031 and are configured as per the modes mentioned in the Ethernet PHY datasheet.
So, one can refer to the KSZ8041 datasheet and can configure the strap resistors accordingly in your custom board.

Dear @riteshmpatel
Thanks for the reply.Currently in RMII mode we are using 25 Mhz crystal mode
The KSZ8041RNL generates the 50MHz RMII REF_CLK and outputs it to the MAC
attached is the block diagram for your reference.
In pin configuration RGMII_TXC should be configured as ENET0_RCLK50M_IN input right?
IMX8QXP_ENET0_RGMII_TXC_CONN_ENET0_RCLK50M_IN 0x06000061
Also let us know the pad settings 0x06000061 is correct
Hi @Chethanbg,
I request you to please raise a new ticket for the additional questions.
