IMX8QM-MEK M.2 Slot compatibility

Hi,

On the  iMX 8 QuadMax MEK (MCIMX8QM-CPU), there is a M.2 slot (key E) to connect Wifi/bluetooth modules.

I would like to use this connector to link the iMX8 to another CPU via PCIe.

Is there enough space on the left of the M.2 slot to insert an A+E keyed M.2 board ?

Hello Jishin42,

Due to its placement on the board and the form of the module you wish to use I would think it should fit but I cannot be certain. You can see the front and back of the board on the Getting Started on the link below:
