Hi,

We are trying to use the following dual display,

1. HDMI

2. LVDS => 5 Inch Single Channel LVDS - 800 x 600

Above setup is working fine with the configuration of more than 22.5 MHz of pixel clock.

We currently trying to use the following dual display,

1. HDMI => 320 x 240 => Display spec specifies the pixel clock should be around 6.5 MHz only.

2. LVDS => 5 Inch Single Channel LVDS - 800 x 600

When we try to set the 6.5 MHz pixel clock, display does not get working.

Please share the information about the above the setup,
1. NXP IMX8MP supported minimum pixel clock frequency
2. With this configuration, what is optimal pixel frequency to configure for Dual Display working.

Please share your inputs.

Thanks,

Veera.H.

Hi,

Please find here with more details,

We have following two displays,

1. HDMI LCD Display: iMX8MP HDMI OUT => TFT401A => 320 x 240 LCD Display

2. LVDS => 5 Inch Single Channel LVDS - 800 x 600

Display 1 is in need of video pixel clock of 6.5 MHz to work. Whenever we configure the video pixel clock as 6.5 MHz, both displays are not working.

if suppose, we have normal hdmi display with 720p and without 6.5 MHz video pixel clock. both HDMI & LVDS displays are working fine.

We are getting into issue when we try to use the small HDMI LCD Display with 320 x 240 and restricting 6.5 MHz video pixel clock.

Please share your inputs on video pixel clock configuration.

Hello,

Maybe you have to change the dtb, the bsp includes a btb for dual display the imx8mp-evk-basler-rm67191.dts add to linux-imx/arch/arch/arm64/boot/dts/freescale and can works fo your display or change the pixel clock if it different
