IMX8MM - digital mic PDM input

Dear team,

My customer has the following inquiry about PDM interface on IMX8MM, They need to connect a microphone that outputs PDM. They think they need to change the MCLK & DATA to one the SAI5 inputs, can you advise if this the correct way to interface with MIC.

Please find attached pic how they plan to connect it and advise us back.

Hi Shai

I believe connections on picture are correct, note "SAI5 inputs"

are just pads name, input should be provided to pdm module,

for example PDM_CLK is muxed on SAI5_RXC pad.
