Hi,

When we make a custom design by using IMX8 Plus SOM, Must we add i2c to the GPIO  expander(PCA9555)? is that a reason for not working LVSD and MIPI displays? Here is the commands

"pca953x pca9555@20: Error reading output register
fail to probe panel device ili9881c_panel
fail to get display timings

Please help me!

The display part doesn't need pca9555, you can remove this device node in dts and driver.
