First our HDMI has no sound, when i check the cmdline dev=hdmi,1280*1080M@60 not the same like the device tree, the device tree is 1920*1080M@60,
I change the cmd line to 1920*1080M@60, the HDMI sound is ok.
can anyone tell me why????????how could the HDMI resolution affect the audio????
Hi
right, audio can be affected as it is sent with
hdmi signal. Correct hdmi clock should be selected for
using audio, please check sect.33.4.3 Supported Video Mode

Dear Igorpadykov:
I understand the question, the 1280*800 mode is not in the mode list been supported.
and the HDMI resolution should the same as the device set.
however , on android 4.2 we use the resolution ,the audio is okay.
Dear Igorpadykov:
do you mean the 1280*800M@60 is not in the supported mode list?
However i don't understand should't the hdmi mode be setted by the edid massage?
by the way,the cmdline used on the android 4.2 version is ok,but android 5.0 has the device tree is bad.
i just can't understand why?
