IMX53 QSB: FFMPEG is not compiling

Hi All,

In LTIB, I have selected FFMPEG package option, it is asking for ffmpeg-20080916.tar.bz2. I could not find this anywhere, instead I found ffmpeg-20080908.tar.bz2, I renamed this to ffmpeg-20080916.tar.bz2 and copied to /opt/freescale/pkgs/

and compiled the ./ltib...

Now I am getting following error. Please help to resolve this issue.

You do not need select VPU plugin if you are using the Gstreamer, The VPU plugin is registered and it will be invoked automatically because its rank has been increased. I suggest you to use Totem which can be built with Gnome mobile.

Yes I would like to play movie for IMX 53 quick start board, please let me know where can I select VPU plugin? I am not seeing under multimedia package(LTIB). 

My problem is, I have an Mplayer, when I play mp4 file, I am able to hear only sound and no video is seen.

I haven't try to build this, but just wondering if why do you plan to build this package.

If you want to decode video, you should use the VPU plugin instead (provided by the multimedia package), which provides hardware video acceleration for encode/decode.
