IMX28 CHARGE_4P2_ILIMIT

Hello,

I get a problem when I'm charging a battery Lithium and runing the application , the current from the 5V is upper to the limit of the CHARGE_4P2_ILIMIT set.

I set to 400mA in CHARGE_4P2_ILIMIT and the current limit charge is set to 350mA.

I read on my power supply 434mA under 5V , and the current inside the batterys is 300mA.

I've nothing on the 5V power rail on my board.

Why the current from the 5V power supply is more than the  limit of the CHARGE_4P2_ILIMIT  ?

reason may be that current from the 5V (VDD5V) provides power also for other linear regulators

as described on Figure 1. i.MX28 PMU AN4199 Using the i.MX28 Power Management Unit and Battery Charger
