IMX-MKIMAGE u-boot-atf.bin file

I'm attempting to build a custom image for the imx8qxp board. When I follow the steps in https://community.nxp.com/docs/DOC-343178 to create the bootable image, it's not clear to me how to generate u-boot-atf.bin. I'd appreciate any direction to complete this step.
