I.MX RT Flash debug

Hi,

    All I.MX RT examples are for debug in the external SDRAM. How to change the examples to load, run and debug the code in the the external QSPI flash and the external Hyper Flash?

  One I.MX RT Microcontroller connected to an external quad-spi flash is enough to work as normal microcontroller? Allowing to load and debug the code into the quad-spi flash using the jtag, just like a microcontroller with internal flash.

Hi Ari,

Now for the I.MX RT we default use the Hyper Flash. The QSPI flash can work on the I.MX RT. If you want use the QSPI flash, here need the open SDA firmware for QSPI, change the default firmware in K20, and use the J-link to download. But the firmware for QSPI is not released by now, you can wait.
