Hi NXP Team,

We are working on the development board set up with the iMX8MQuad chipset. However, we don't require the Video Acceleration unit and GPU as of now and we want to disable the same to save the power consumption.

Please provide the steps through which we can disable the i.MX8MQuad chipset through u-boot and kernel.

1) Video acceleration which includes 4Kp60, h.265 and VP9

2) GPUs

We are checking the differences based on this link. https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/fact-sheet/i.MX8M-FS.pdf

We are using the same Linux kernel 5.4 provided by NXP team.

Regards.

you can refer to the enclosed file, find the chapter 5.1.8 Menu Configuration Options and chapter 6.7.3 Menu Configuration Options, you don't need to enable in the kernel configuration
