How to create recipes or patch for these modified files?

Hi,

I modify the imx6qdl-wandboard.dtsi and wandboard.h in work folder, and get it work for display, so how to create recipes or patch to put them in own meta layer? often I need to first know its original recipes with bb extension file, then create bbpend file for them, but how to know its bb file, looking forward to reply, thanks.
