How do I enable the SJC Fuse i.mx8

I assume it uses the uboot fuse command.

How do I determine the parameters?

Please provide a document #, and possibly a section # that explains the bit fields in the registers.
Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products,

SJC enabled would mean that JTAG is enabled? It's already enabled.

In i.MX 8/8X family, the system JTAG controller (SJC) provides a method of regulating the JTAG access.
SJC provides the following security levels:

  • JTAG disabled – JTAG use is permanently blocked.
  • No-debug – JTAG security sensitive features are permanently blocked.
  • Secure JTAG – JTAG use is restricted (as in the no-debug level) unless a secret-key challenge/response
    protocol is successfully executed.
  • JTAG enabled – JTAG use is unrestricted.

The index and bit are 5[0]  and 22, you can refer to this article for fuse programming.

Regards
