We were trying to put our i.MX6 solo based board into hibernation, but none of the available docs mention anything about hibernation.
We understand that low power modes are supported, but this is not meeting our specific requirements. We use iMX6 with Linux L3.10.9_1.0.0-alpha 10/2013 freescale release and Ubuntu Precise.
We also tried to implement the feature using a swap file and pm-hibernate combination, but the board is not moving to hibernation.
We happened to see in some forums about some kernel back porting will make the hibernation work, but cannot get more details about the same.
Can anyone kindly share more details on how to put the board in hibernation, if it is supported ?
