Hi,
PSU team accidentally wiped out boot record on Linux SD card for imx53 sabre.
Could someone (Freescale or EcoCAR2 teams) send us their sabre Linux SD card image?
For those who of you have the Linux working/never touch imx53 sabre, run such commands can backup and generate a working image:
//////plug the SD card into a Linux host PC, or Mac/Unix if you like, open a terminal
sudo su /////this will prompt password
dd if=/dev/sdc of=lalala.bin ///////this will take at least 20 minutes, and system will not give you any progress infomation
pwd /////now you can see where your working directory is
A file called lalala.bin is the image.
Could someone let me know if you are willing to help?
Thanks,
Mike

Hello Mike,
Are you attending the Year One Competition in couple weeks?
I can meet you (or a member of the PSU Center stack team) to deliver the software.
Let me know and we can set up the meeting.
Regards,
Renato

I did not see this post on the new website, so I post a new one,
Penn State EcoCAR2 needs sabre board Linux, Android and Windows image
Meng(Mike) Jin
Hi Renato,
Thanks for reply.
We really need the original image. In case we might mess up with Android or Windows SD card later, could you provide us three images? i.e. Linux, Android and Windows for imx53 center stack
Again, we are sorry that PSU didn't attend Freescale center stack Winter Workshop part. Could you also share CAN communication examples, and Qt Demos with us?
What qmake paramter should we use to compile Qt program for the center stack board?
Is there any news on QNX? Are the teams going to get a copy of QNX?
Thanks,
Mike Jin

Hello Mike,
The idea from the workshop was to provide instructions allow you to generate your own images adding custom stuff from your project... If you are having issues with that, please post them on on the group and we'll try to help.
If you really need the original image I can to set up a web file transfer.
