Is it possible to write in a new version of U-boot without the MFG-tool i.e. writing it from userspace?
fw_printenv does not work on our current version and we would like to do an over-the-air update to u-boot.
If you have the SD card design, you can use the dd commend, for the newer BSP we supply recommend you to use the uuu tool we supply, it is convenient and fast.
