External PCIe video solution can use internal GPU ?

Hi Sir,

I have a question:

If we are able to have an external PCIe video solution, can we use internal GPU for this external display output?

As far as I know, all display ports of imx6 are routed to internal IPUs.  When external video device create a fb device , is it like a imx6 internal fb device can use GPU 3D graphic engine?

yes, one can use GPU with external PCIe video solution,

as GPU works with data located in memory buffer.
