Encoding MJPEG

I'm looking for the lowest cost solution to encode MJPEG at 15fps at VGA or WVGA resolution.  Does the MX28 have enough speed to do this in software?  Or do I need to use a device with a hardware encoder?

Which types of camera are you using in your system?

Camera gives output in YCbCr ro RGB format output?

it depends on your MJPEG resolution, you can port mencoder to have a try.
