Drive strength of GPIO in IMX8M Plus

Greetings,
My system has 6, 8:1 Multiplexer, I wish to short the 3 select lines of all 6 Mux together. The 3 select lines of mux are connected to GPIO pins  & then those 3 GPIOs would change states & would result in selection of corresponding channel input from all individual multiplexers. I have seen that drive strength of the GPIO can be increased (x6) by programming a register. I wanted to know that by doing so, will the GPIO be able to drive all mux select lines

The max output current for 3.3V is 12mA and 9.6mA for 1.8V
