Hi NXP,
We are following the NXP Release Debian 2024/12/30 version as per the official documentation:
https://docs.nxp.com/bundle/UG10155/page/topics/building_an_image_in_flexbuild.html
We followed the standard procedure described in the "Most used examples with automated build" section and run the command:
blb -m imx8mpevk
We understand that this process may involve building a Debian Docker image with ML features.
Could you confirm whether it is possible to successfully compile the Docker image using this method?
If not, could you provide the correct SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for building it?
We have strictly followed NXP's official SOP, but we are encountering issues.
Please let us know the correct steps to complete the build successfully.
Thanks,

Hi @Zhiming_Liu
In the thread, you say : "Please use Ubunut22.04 as host environment."
So, do you mean we shouldn't use the Docker environment?
Please provide the correct the SOP. Thanks.
Hello,
If you need ML feature, you need use docker under Ubuntu22.04.
Ubuntu22.04----->without ML
Ubuntu22.04+Debian12 docker------>ML/non-ML

Hi @Zhiming_Liu
We tested on two different Ubuntu 22.04 PCs, both using the Debian 12 Docker image provided by NXP.
However, the compilation still failed.
Do you have any suggestions?"
