De-interlace Capture Device issue

Add apply patch at <De-interlace Capture Device>, the image became blur. Is this right? How to improve it?

I have same issue with m.c. I using "Freescale Android JB4.3 1.1.0" with iMX6DL.

If I don't add the patch, the image will some interlacing artifacts in edge of motion object. It show as below.

That patch is rather old for JB4.3, it shouldn't be necessary

Are you able to see the images sharp without the patch? ( I see that the image you posted is at 500% zoom so i cannot determine it)
