Issue
We are integrating our 13MP sensor which supports both YUYV and RAW8 formats in Variscite i.MX8M Mini kit for Linux Version 5.4(Yocto - Dunfell). We could get the YUYV frames properly but the GREY/RAW8 images has alternate rows filled with zero.

Note

We tested the same sensor in Dart-MX8M-Mini for Linux Version 4.14. We could get both YUYV and GREY/RAW8 frames properly.

Request

We have added necessary patches to add support for GREY/RAW8 format support in the kernel. We could not find if we are missing something. We have attached sample images and the patch for reference. Waiting for your quick response.

this is third party company bsp, I'm not sure of this, but maybe you can compare the registers between 4.14 and 5.4, could you get correct data from FIFO?
