DRAM Initialization problem in u-boot on android Prebuilt-Image for SCM i.MX6Q 1GB QWKS REVC board

Hi,

I am using SCM i.MX6Q 1GB QWKS REVC board . I tried to boot the board with the Prebuilt-images of android. (images_M6.0.1_2.1.0-ga_MX6SCM).

I partitioned the sd card using fsl-sdcard-partition.sh and placed the images in sd card as instructed in the manual.

But when i tried to boot the board i am facing DRAM Initialization problem in uboot level

U-Boot 2015.04-00008-gcac6ef2 (May 05 2017 - 17:00:08)

CPU: Freescale i.MX6Q rev1.5 at 792 MHz
CPU: Temperature 37 C
Reset cause: POR
Board: MX6DQSCM-QWKS-REV3
I2C: ready
DRAM:

After this the board hangs. Is there any lastest prebuilt images or how to fix this issue.

Hi Igor,

I tried with the mfgtool and prebuilt-images as you guided but still same problem persists .

The board hangs in same level.

Is there any other fix for this issue??

In this thread  Watchdog reboot on overloading GPU in SCM IMX6Q they are discussing about Linux imx-4.1.15-2.0.0_ga release and Yocto krogoth build.

Linux Images are working fine . But i have raised the query for for ANDROID Marshmallow images  SCM_IMX6_M6.0.1_2.1.0_ANDROID_DEMO_BSP  which are not working properly.

Hope things are clear Igor.

Looking forward for a best fix.

mentioned package "Binary Demo Files of Android M6.0.1_2.1.0 BSP - QWKS Board

for SCM-i.MX 6DQ and EVB for SCM-i.MX 6SoloX" has binaries for i.MX6SX and i.MX6DQ,

recheck that correct image for i.MX6Q (REVC (rev3) board) was used. Please use Android

I rechecked the package  I am using the images which are under qwks_rev3 directory and was doing all things as explained in Android User guide for SCM https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/SCMIMX6AUG.pdf

Then what is our next move ??

I built the images from the source  

I referred this manual  https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/SCMIMX6AUG.pdf to build images.

After that, I tried to boot with newly built images but the same problem occurs.

the board hangs in the same level as I have posted earlier.

Any solution for this Igor?
