Create UAP0 in imx6sl evk with the Android os 4.4.3

In Android if it connecting to AP wlan0 act as station. If we creating hotspot wlan0 act as hostap. here no separate AP(uap0) is there. so i want to create uap0. I don't know how to do this.? If anybody have idea just tell me..?

Hi,

Since Android 2.2, the hotspot capability is already included by default on Android itself. So, if you want to use a specific Wi-Fi chip, it is a better option to ask to the silicon manufacturer about supporting this capability, and also for requesting the proper driver for the integration with the kernel for hardware support.
