I've been using a i.MX8M Plus processor and I have a set of General Purpose Output pins that I drive high or low.
Sometimes, for some specific projects I need to be sure that the voltage level on the pin is at the expected level (to detect short circuits, or faults external to the processor).
One common solution is connecting every GP out pin to another pin configured as GP input.
And read the voltage level of the GP input pins.
This connection can be done externally to the NXP processor, using some resistors.
Is there a way to configure the IOMUX so that this kind of connection is done internally to the NXP pricessor?
This would save space on the PCB, and it would be a flexible way to get the same result.

Hi @vix!
Thank you for contacting NXP Support!
Sorry, that is not possible!
You can use only one GP input with a pull-up internal resistor and read the value.
Sorry for the mistake!
Best Regards!
