Cannot use USB camera (webcam) on Sabre Smart Devices

Dear Sirs,

I have two USB webcams and running 4.1.0 Linux BSP with Ubuntu Oneiric on i.MX6Q Sabre-SD  They didn't  work until I followed this guide to config Linux kernel. After the configuration, I can use them to take shots by the following command but not to record by application like Cheese. There's only black screen inside Cheese. Could you please help me?

vlc -I dummy v4l2:///dev/video0 --video-filter scene --no-audio --scene-path /home/stoppal/test --scene-prefix image_prefix --scene-format png vlc://quit --run-time=1

I'm sorry. I didn't try the command written on the guide I've mentioned. That command really works! Thanks for your concern.

1. gst-launch-0.10 v4l2src ! ffmpegcolorspace ! ximagesink

                 You can also try with the following command to display your camera data.

$ gst-launch v4lsrc ! mfw_v4lsink
