Camera streaming issue for imx8mp in debian

I am validating ov5640 camera in Debian 12 for imx8mp .

even in the i2c the camera slave is not detecting

i am working on debian 12 based on Linux 6.6.52 kernel

i am using imx8mp processor based custom board. The above error prints are solved.

i am testing ov5640 camera on imx8mp .I tried the cheese application for this camera but i am getting the below prints

but if i start Weston the camera streaming is working but i don't want this method
i want to test the camera through cheese application and and through commmand line normally

We are using the imx8mp evk based custom board . The same source with the linux it is working but only with the debian it is not working.

The failure to detect the OV5640 camera in Debian on i.MX8MP, indicated by the critical errors supply DOVDD not found and failed to read chip identifier, stems from an incomplete Device Tree Source (DTS) configuration. The sensor is not responding on the I2C bus because it is likely not powered up. To fix this, you must explicitly define and link the OV5640's required voltage rails (DOVDD-supply, AVDD-supply, DVDD-supply) to the appropriate regulator nodes (e.g., &reg_1p8v, &reg_2p8v) within both camera nodes in the DTS file, ensuring the sensor receives power before the driver attempts I2C communication.

Are you using EVK/FRDM board?
We already have support for the OV5640 by default on our Debian release, so no modification should be needed if using EVK/FRDM.
