Booting from SPI NAND flash

 Is it possible to use SPI NAND flash as a boot device on i.MX8 processors?

Just to clarify: in both chipsets i.MX8QXP and i.MX8M is there boot ROM firmware limitation or is there some HW limitation?

it is ROM limitation.

seems not, i.MX8QXP supports FlexSPI NOR flash boot, i.MX8M boot ROM

only supports :
• NAND flash
• SD/MMC
