Boot time optimization

Hi

I am working on imx6ul processor. and linux version "NXP i.MX Release Distro 4.9.11-1.0.0 imx6ulevk"

Presently boot time of my board is 7.8 secs. I want to reduce it to less than 5 secs.

Can anyone help me on

1.how to reduce kernal size.

2.how to remove crc check at uboot

3.if any other possible ways of reduce boot time.

You can use the falcon mode to reduce the boot time
