Hi

The PMIC PCA9450A has an input range of 2.85V to 5.5V and has six high efficient step-down regulators. To optimize our power design we would like to know the efficiency of the reference design of the PCA9450A with the i.MX8M Mini depending on the input voltage. Is there an efficiency curve depending on the input voltage and the load current available or do I need to measure it on the evaluation board? For what input voltage is the PCA9450A optimized for low load?

To estimate the efficiency of the PCA9450A BUCK2 theoretically I need also the rise and fall times of the High- and Low-Side FET of the Buck converter.

Best Regards,

Patrick

1. Can I use the same efficiciency information with i.MX Nano processor as well?

2. If I provide 5V Input to LDO and take 0.85V as output,(This is shown in the compute module schematics) the efficiency is less than 20%. Is it okay to operate LDO in this conditions?
