[Android][imx8mm] Boot time optimization

Hi,

I am booting with Android 11 on imx8mm board. Boot time is ~45 seconds. The default image loaded on emmc is Android 9. Boot time with Android 9 is ~15 seconds. Any idea how to achieve this boot time (or better) on Android 11 ?

Hi Israel, Thank you for your input. I am aware of this document. I am just wandering why the default Android 11 images is so slow in booting up. A9 boot time is pretty well. Am I missing anything ?

Hi @avijitnsec,

Is because android 11 is not as well optimized as the 9 was, this is for all the main features that were added on the newer version. You can review the release notes from android to know more about this.
