1. Will you please clarify whether android things developer preview 5.1 will support google cast/chrome cast feature on imx7dual or imx6ul with prebuilt images?

Unfortunately, we cannot help you. This is because we do not give support to Android Things. In consequence, we do not have information about Android Things. For that, I highly recommend you to go directly to google. Google is the one who is giving support to Android Things.
