Android Automotive OS 10 does not drive a FHD+ display

Hello,

I am using i.MX 8 QuadMax platform and running Android Automotive OS 10. I desired to drive a HDMI screen which has 2400x900 resolution (FHD+). However, although I disabled the LVDS screens (ldb1, and ldb2), we cannot see any display on this panel. The board can only drive HDMI displays in FHD resolution (1920x1080).

Does the Android Automotive 10 OS have support for driving a HDMI screen such as Full HD+ (2400x900), if so, how? I would be very happy if you could help me with this.

Best Regards.

Hi @nevozade,

I hope you are doing well

Please confirm that you are following the below steps for the HDMI display.

1) Power On the board and stop at U-boot by pressing any key.
2) Select the correct dtb file from uboot.
 => setenv fdt_file imx8qm-mek-hdmi.dtb
 => saveenv
 => boot

Thanks & Regards,
