We test the RTC function in Android 5.0.2.

We tried to change the time by Android GUI, hoever after system reboot, the time is default value.

But we try to send command, the RTC function is pass.

example:

# busybox date 2015.10.16-10:41:26

# busybox hwclock -w

# busybox hwclock

Do you have any advice?

Hi Kamil,

Were you able to come to any  solution with the above RTC problem. I am having a similar problem.

As far as I can see, the code does not set RTC.

Anyone else with any insight, please chime in. Any help is wildly appreciated.

Thanks

Jagat

Hi,

Does the system reboot consist of removing the power source?

Do you have the same problem with a  software reset?

Best Regards,

Alejandro

The way of reset (software or remove of power source) id doesn't matter. Problem is Android set only software clock, without settings of hardware RTC IC. Off course, RTC and backup baterry works properly - after set by busybox, clock works properly.

I check old (4.4.2) version of Android and it's works properly on the same board.

Have you tried the latest release?

Would you be nice to do so?

Alejandro

Unfortunately, i can't check it. We use third-party SOM (Variscite MX6-SOM) and the newest release is 5.0.2, so we need solution for 5.0.2.
