Accelerometer Device Orientation Detection in vertical direction

Hi all,

I'm using application "AccSample" from following path for testing Accelerometer driver.

%_WINCEROOT%\platform\IMX313DS\SRC\TEST\ACCELEROMETER   

                                                        
        1.  Before enabling the rotation:  If the device is rotated both in horizontal and vertical direction then x,y & z co-ordinate values are getting updated.

         2. After rotation is enabled: If the platform is rotated in horizontal direction(flat) then orientation change is getting detected  and also the screen rotation                                                       is happening according to the device orientation. But Orientation change is not getting detected in the vertical direction i.e if                                                       the platform is kept vertical and rotated then screen rotation is not happening.

Please let me know the reason for this issue
