Dear All,
Hello. I have a question about the performance of weak-regulator with LDO_2P5 in i.MX6DQ.
Refer to 10.4.1.1.2 Analog LDO regulators (weak regulator) in IMX6DQRM(Rev.2).
[Q1]
When alternating to weak regulator, why does the consumption current is reduced?
(Is "weak regulator" for the low-load?)
[Q2]
Could you give me the characteristic graph ("Output voltage" vs "Output current ") about weak regulator.
*When alternating to weak regulator, the output current seems to be lacking to SATA_VPH and NVCC_LVDS circuit on custom board.
Best Regards,
Keita

Hi Keita
1. consumption current is reduced because LDO decrease internal curcuits
currents, for example internal biasing currents.
2. characteristic graph ("Output voltage" vs "Output current ") can be calculated
using output impedance, below
