Hi community,
We have a question about i.MX6 android bsp.
We found the following patch is not applied to android_jb4.2.2_1.1.0-ga, but applied to android_kk4.4.2_1.0.0-ga.
Then, would you let me know the reason why the patch is applied to android_kk4.4.2_1.0.0-ga even though both bsp use same kernel revision (3.0.35)?

Hello Satoshi,
There was no particular reason not to include the patch in 4.2.2 other than time. According to the information I got from our specialists, it was decided not to include the patch in 4.2.2 because it was already included in 4.4.2
Please let me know if it answers your question.
Hello Satoshi,
The reason is simple actually.
The patch was only applied on 4.4.2 and not from 4.2.2 because we started applying it from 4.4.2, it is just a timing issue.
Best regards,
Sergio

Hi SerchMX,
Thank you for your reply.
According to your reply, we understood the patch was not released when Freescale developed android_jb4.2.2_1.1.0-ga, and it had been released when Freescale developed android_kk4.4.2_1.0.0-ga.
Is this correct?
Or Freescale did not apply the patch to android_jb4.2.2_1.1.0-ga even though the patch had been released with some reason?
(e.g. there is no enough time for estimating the effect of the patch until release android_jb4.2.2_1.1.0-ga)
