8M Mini dual core Ethernet interface support

Hi,

We are planning to use Microchip Ethernet PHY KSZ8081MNXIA-TR which supports MII interface with 8M Mini dual core SoC. I have attached its datasheet in this thread.

We learnt from 8M Mini datasheet that its supports RMII and RGMII interface. It is backward compatible with MII interface? Can we use this PHY KSZ8081MNXIA-TR with 8M Mini dual core SoC?

Please confirm.

unfortunately MII interface is not supported by i.MX8M Mini, sorry.
