GUI GUIDER with different resolution

I've been working on graphics development recently with GUI guider .There is a question .If I don't use the official LCD, how should I operate the LCD with other resolutions to display normally?

Firstly you need to confirm if the display screen you choose can directly connect to the board you are using, if yes, and to see if the resolution is support in default or not, if no, you need to porting the parameter to your board.

Then is the screen can not connect to the board you are using, you need to draw or by the related adapter connect board. And then do the porting this display.
