mkw36z512 can't program using Jlink SWD

Hi team,
I'm developing firmware for the MKW36Z512 40-pin BLE using MCUXpressoIDE. On the development board, debugging works via LinkServer, but on the custom board, the hardware is set up for J-Link debugging. I tried debugging with J-Link, but it fails to recognize the IC.

I'm not very familiar with the hardware, but looking at the schematic, I noticed that the DCDC pin is not connected. Could this be the reason why J-Link is unable to detect the IC? If I'm doing something wrong, I’d appreciate it if you could let me know the correct approach.

here is some pictures, please check it.

feel free to notice something.

thank you in advance.

Hello,

Hope you are doing well.

Based on the FRDM-KW36 schematic and FRDM-KW36 Minimum BoM Development Board User’s Guide, DCDC pins should be connected.

If you can check this community post, there is more information on pull up/down resistor recommendations for SWD on this post: Design Considerations for Debug

I would also recommend reviewing the connections in your custom board with the following documentation:

Best Regards,

Ana Sofia.
