Watchdog timer settings in KW41Z

Hello,

I have few queries on Watchdog timer in KW41Z.

What is the default Watchdog reset time.

1. Will watchdog still keep running when device goes to sleep.
2. Is there any means to support external watchdog.
3. Whether Watchdog is enabled by default.
4. How to configure Watchdog timers.

Hello Vishnu Beema,

To answer your questions:

1. Refer to Table 7-2. Module operation in low power modes in the KW41 reference manual for the watchdog module operation in the different power modes.
2. There is no software component that facilitates the use of an external watchdog.
3. The watchdog is disabled at startup in most of the wireless examples.
4. To understand the watchdog operation in KW41 you can refer to the Computer operating properly (COP) driver example project in <SDK>\boards\frdmkw41z\driver_examples\cop\. Additionally, you can refer to the 3.4.11.2 COP watchdog operation chapter in the KW41 reference manual.
