We are trying to make an NFC reader for door access control. Currentyl our reader is PN532. Reading NFC tags and Android phones are as expected. But for the Apple products (It seems) we have to support Apple VAS. What we need is the just 4 or 7 bytes UUID and nothing more.
I have the following questions.
1. For this requirement (reading the UUID for the Apple) we have to support Apple VAS? Or we are wrong?
2. I found out PN7161 supports Apple VAS but PN7160 does not. Is there a hardware difference between these two? Because for testing porpose I want to purchase the evaluation kit but the evaluation kits are based on PN7160.
I have no idea what to do. Would you please give me an overview about the steps. Where should I start?
