QN9083 IEEE address

Hello.

We are considering BLE product using QN9083 for mass production.

If the product will be mass production, do we need to write BD address in rom or flash memory? or is there included unique BD address in rom or flash?

Hello Wayne Jeong,

The QN908x have an unique Bluetooth address stored in flash. See 7.3.1.1 Flash information page in the QN908x user manual. 

There is also a special area in the flash called Non-Volatile Data Storage (NVDS), which is used for user information and can contain a custom Bluetooth address, the BLE stack will try to load the address from the NVDS first and if it is not present it will use the default Bluetooth address from the Flash information page.
