QN9021 DC-to-DC behavior

I am seeing large, nearly 1 volt drops on the QN9021's VDD (with the DC-to-DC active) during transmits with TX gain of 0 dBm. Is this behavior normal?

What is the power supply? A battery or other equipment.

Normally, a small 3v lithium coin cell battery. But the drops are present with a bench top power supply as well.

1. What’s capacity of the battery?
2. Have they tried on a standard power source?
3. Is there any other device on their board which need more current?
4. Have them measure the maximum current consume by their board?  

9020 MiniDK can be powered by CR2032.

Did you have the same issue on the MiniDK?
