Hello Support team,

We have used PN7150 in one of our designs with the android 10 release, which is working fine and now there is the requirement to upgrade android os to the android 13 release.

 

I checked the application note AN11690, but there is support till Android11 and not for Android13.

Is there any plan to provide support for Andoird13 for PN7150 chipset?

If yes, can you please share a tentative timeline for the same?

 

If No, can you please share why there won't be support for Andoird13 for the PN7150 chipset? Are there any Hardware or software limitations?

 

Detailed information would be greatly helpful.

Let me know if more information is needed.

Hi @Keval 

 

Please kindly note that PN7150 device is not recommended for new designs. We recommended using the PN7160.

Latest supported Android version is A11.  NXP has stopped the Android maintenance for PN7150 and is not planning any support for new Android version.  For later newer Android versions, please use PN7160.   No limitation for this, because we don't have resource to do that.
